An acupuncturist's question on Facebook group, Acupuncturists on Facebook
This is on the right breast of a 33 year old female patient. It is located underneath about 2 to 3 inches below the nipple. A small nodule was there for many years with no redness or pain and within the last week it has become red and painful to the touch. A few nights ago she squeezed it and a little pus came out or whitehead she isn't sure. Now it is more red and irritated. Any idea of what this could be and why all of a sudden she is having an issue with it? Any suggestions on treatment?
