A question from a gentleman
I am interested in learning more about KOSA.
How is it different that Sa Am Acupuncture?
How is it different than Dr. Kuon's Eight Constitutional Medicine?
How is it different than Tae Geuk Acupuncture?

How is it different than Tae Geuk Acupuncture?
A. How is it different that Sa Am Acupuncture?
Saahm and SaAm is talking about same person who invented this type of acupuncture 400 years ago and his penname is Saahm.
However, all acupuncturists practice Saahm acupuncture except for KOSA members don't accurately understand the theory.
It is my opinion that Japanes kidnapped Korean masters in various arts 400 years ago including acupuncturists and nowadays they claim they invented five element acupuncture.
Please refer to below thread.
It is my opinion that Japanese acupuncture doesn't still fully understand five element theory or Saahm acupuncture.
B. How is it different than Dr. Kuon's Eight Constitutional Medicine?
His theory has a few problem:
- 8 is too small number to categorize billions of people around the world.
- Our DNA keeps changing 24x7, affected by food, sleeping, emotions and etc.
That is not just pre-programmed but also is to keep the history of the body (of course, including mental conditions). - Diseases due to constitution cannot be treated because the constitution cannot be changed according to his theory.
Even though the patient's conditions may improve, he/she is supposed to have same disease or different one.
In other words, he will have to keep trying to treat the disease incurable. Also, he won't be able to prevent any person from getting sick.
KOSA does not believe in constitutional theory at all.
C. How is it different than Tae Geuk Acupuncture?
I've never heard of it.
However, I am sure it cannot come close to KOSA.
I hope this answers your question.
Thank you for your interest in KOSA.
Best Regards.
