I received an email from a woman about sense of smell. This is what her situation is (she explains it best):
had an issue for a couple of years. it seems to be getting worse. My sense of smell is broken.
Very few things smell the way they should anymore.
I smell things that are not there and I also smell things "wrong."
Ex: a dairy farm should smell like manure, but to me it smells like baking bread.
Hot tar even smell like baking bread.
Scented candles all smell like chemicals to me.
My sense of taste is also off.
The only thing that really tastes like it supposed is anything sweet.
Saw ENT Dr. He asked if I'd had Shingles because a severe virus could cause it. I've had both Shingles and West Nile so either could have done it.
Has anyone treated something like this? Thank you ahead!
