01 - Runny nose
In a rental car lot in Knoxville McGhee Tyson Airport in Tennessee, I met a lady and it was very cold during winter.
She had a runny nose due to sinuses and told me that it gets worse in winter.
I asked her to give me her right arm. As soon as I pinched her WATER point of her Lung BONGHAN DUCT with my fingers a few times, she told me that she felt warmness in her chest and nasal discharge had disappeared.
02 - Stomachache
I happened to work with a Chemical Engineer for a few days. It took me about a couple of hours to give him the instruction how to treat pain and/or disease using KOSA with fingers only.
A couple of weeks later, he sent me a Thank you email the very next weekend.
He had a stomach ache and he used KOSA finger pinching on FIRE point of his stomach BONGHAN DUCT at his left ankle and the ache went away immediately and never come back.

03 - Migraine
A lady came to me asking if I could help her with her migraine.
It was constant for two days and did not go away even though she took ten times the dosage of an over-the-counter drug.
Because migraine usually lie on gallbladder BONGHAN duct, I pinched her FIRE point of gallbladder BONGHAN DUCT located on her right leg.
She told me pinching immediately eliminated the terrible migraine.
A few weeks later when she happened to see me she told me the migraine had not come back again.

04 - An elderly lady after arthritis surgery on her knees
An elderly Hispanic lady came into my office pushing a walker with her granddaughter.
She had surgery on her both knees due to arthritis.
The scars were 12 inches long from her knee caps down to her feet and had not completely healed and 1/8 inch wide open.
On every inch of those scars she had tape to hold the cut skin together but her movement made them fall apart and they were flipping as she moved.
Even though she was using a pain killer, the pain was so bad that she had to rely on a walker and had to labor to walk.
I attached three magnets (for subdual) at BONGHAN DUCTs of stomach, bladder and kidney at foot and ankle for both sides.
Because her scars and knees were right on stomach BONGHAN duct both sides, arthritis was caused by her hot kidney.
Because she was overweight she had to have deficient kidney.
The diagnosis and putting magnets took me less than five minutes.
As soon as magnets were put on, I asked her to stand up from couch but she was reluctant because she knew it would cause severe pain.
However, I convinced her to do so since she would have to do it eventually to go home.
She stood up.
She was very surprised to find that she did not feel any pain.
I asked her to walk without the walker and she hesitated again.
I insisted again.
She began walking and started to cry after a few steps of walking without the walker saying “I don’t have pain.”
Right next her, her granddaughter kept saying “Amazing.”

05- Frozen shoulder
With frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis) the arm’s mobility has been limited.
By KOSA method, the frozen shoulder is caused by unhealthy organs like liver, lung, large intestine, and/or small intestine and making those organs healthy should treat the problem.

06 - No feeling on the sole
A lady had no feeling on the sole of her feet and felt she was walking on clouds. During the third or fourth treatment, the KOSA acupuncturist found her wearing a hearing aid and asked her if she had not noticed any difference in her hearing capability. He asked her to take the hearing aid off because he thought there was a good chance that her hearing had improved. The reasoning is that he was treating her kidney and the Kidney BD starts from the sole of her foot. Because the improved kidneys had improved her walking capability, they should have helped her hearing as well. After examining her hearing, amazingly, she was able to hear almost perfectly. After that, she has never worn the hearing aid again.

07 - Spinal curvature
I met a middle school girl who had spinal curvature. Looking at the five elements table, I told her mother that she needs to avoid novels, movies, or anything that would make her daughter scared or frightened, because those emotions would harm the kidney and, eventually, her bones including her spine. She was very surprised to hear this and told me her daughter was infatuated with them and she kept reading and watching as much as she could even though she was shuddering with fear.
Avoiding horror material and using a magnet to subdue the FIRE point of the kidney for a few months corrected her spinal problem.

08 - Bonghan Duct
A male Korean born in 1920 living in Canada had abdomen pain and he visited two hospitals where both did an MRI scan and found nothing unusual or wrong.
When the gentleman visited his family in Korea, he had the fortune of visiting a KOSA member.
The member asked him if he had any other health concerns than abdomen pain. The man told him about his biceps which was cut close to the shoulder 15 years ago during exercise. Since there was no appropriate remedy available for that, he just let it go. It had gotten worse and eventually he could not raise his arm and could bend his wrist only 10 degrees.
During the treatment for abdominal pain, subdual of the FIRE points of the BDs of the lung and spleen (LU10 and SP2) were added for his arm problem. The abdominal pain significantly lessened right away. Not being fully satisfied with that successful treatment, the patient was asked to try to bend his wrist. He was able to now bend it 45 degrees. The patient was very happy even though the KOSA member was disappointed with that result in his mind.
Next morning, the patient’s son called the KOSA member and told him that his father was able to raise his arm just like he had never had a problem. His abdominal pain disappeared after three more treatments, and he had been able to move his arm and wrist freely right after the first treatment.
The treatment included subduing the FIRE points of the lung and spleen. Subduing the FIRE point of the lung was used because the biceps of the arm lies on the Lung BD. Subduing the spleen FIRE point will be explained later.

09 - Knee pain
A KOSA member was on a business trip while his mother-in-law was visiting his family back home. He was told that she had a pain in her knee. He instructed his wife to find the location of ST41, the FIRE point of the Stomach, and let his daughter, a middle school girl, provide acupuncture treatment to her grandmother. The pain went away immediately.

10 - Injury at a big toe
I was moving a freezer wearing sandals with a friend of mine in my backyard. One of the bottom corners hit my right big toe and it began bleeding with a cut ½” long and 1/16” in depth and width. He suggested that I go to get treatment from the hospital across from my home but I refused, and went inside the house instead. Since the wound was located right on the Spleen BD, I subdued my left FIRE point of Spleen BD (SP2). The bleeding stopped in less than 5 seconds, and the pain was decreased drastically. A few days later, the wound was totally healed. I had not used any painkiller or drug.

11 - Regrowing cartilages on bone on bone arthritis on 80 years old lady
A few years ago in Korea, an elderly lady over 80 years old had arthritis in both of her knees, and all of her articular hyaline cartilages were gone. Although her physician strongly recommended that she have surgery, she refused, and instead, took KOSA treatment about a month and half. When she went back to her physician, she had no problem with walking and any activities using her knees. He took another x-ray and his jaw dropped because her articular hyaline cartilages were perfectly recovered. She had not changed her food, nor taken something other than KOSA treatment. Most importantly, would this result happen in other patients similar to her? My answer would be “Most likely, yes.” The major part of the treatment was subduing the FIRE points of her kidney and the BDs passing by her knees.

12 - Heartburn
A lady who was stepping out of the pub asked me if I had any drugs for heartburn on me. I told her I didn’t. I asked her if she would try my magnet therapy and she told me that she would. I put the South Pole of a magnetic rod for about ten seconds on ST41 at her right ankle, which was to quench the FIRE point of her stomach and she told me her heartburn went away.

13 - Tapping treats wrist pain
A few years ago, during a business trip, I happened to be with a coworker who had a pain right on the middle of the transverse crease on the dorsal side of the right wrist. Because the pain area was located on the Triple Energizer BD, I tapped on his left TE6 with a car key. Right after about a dozen times of tapping, he began smiling and tilted his head because he could not believe the fact that his pain went away.

14 - Esophagus cancer
A friend of Master Kim’s, when he was 68 years old was hospitalized due to esophagus cancer and he could not swallow any food or liquid because esophagus was blocked by tumor. Liquefied food was being fed to his stomach through the hose inserted in his esophagus through his neck for ten days in hospital. The treatment forthcoming was supposed to be radiation therapy for a few days and then surgery to cut off the tumor.
Since Master Kim carried a needle all the time, he used the needle at his friend’s FIRE point of stomach, ST41 and subdued for three minutes.
Five minutes later, Master Kim suggested him to try to drink grape juice in a can in which there were grape grains. He used to throw up whatever he drank in five minutes but he didn't at that time. Their being enthusiastic made him drink up a can of grape juice without any problems at all. It was the first time any kind of food was naturally delivered to his stomach through his mouth and esophagus since the last 15 days. In the evening after Master Kim left him, he could eat all regular food provided by the hospital.
Next morning, he ate not only the breakfast but also three potatoes additionally. Master Kim provided him with the second treatment just like the first one. His friend had a few days of radiation therapy only and was discharged. Even five years later, there had been no re-occurrence.

15 - Color of stool
The stool of an old lady in her mid 70s had been green for more than 40 years no matter what kind of food she ate. Traditional oriental medicine thinks that the color indications for the large intestine are as follows: when the stool’s color is gold, bright and dark, it indicates healthy, cold and hot, respectively. Because of this, the KOSA member who was taught this idea a week earlier, thought that the old lady must have a cold large intestine. Nevertheless, I asked him to try the treatment of fostering the large intestine. This treatment for a week changed her stool color to gold, which is the healthy color.

16 - Dyslexia
A friend of mine asked me if I could treat dyslexia and told me that his son, a fourth grader in elementary school, had dyslexia, and he could not read a simple phrase in a book. He asked me to try KOSA on him.
A few days later, he brought his son to me and I had to use the palpation method. He was found to have a deficient large intestine and his heart rate indicated hotness. Thus, I applied magnets.
Although I do not believe those magnets made his organs normal immediately, I gave him a book and let him read and his parent were watching him.
Amazingly and miraculously, he was able to read the phrases, word by word and line by line, flawlessly.
A few months later, when his father came to me, I thought the dyslexia reoccurred and I asked him if it had reoccurred.
He said to me “I would like you to see my son once more to make him read faster.”
He was just joking but I still think his son’s faster reading from KOSA treatment would not be impossible.

17 - Concentration
A KOSA member told me a story about his son in college.
He gave his son a KOSA treatment based on fostering the large intestine because of diarrhea. Even though a couple of treatment took care of his diarrhea, the son kept asking his father to continue to give him the treatment because he could concentrate upon everything better than ever before.
Before the treatment his concentration had been so poor that he had difficulties in college classes and he used to have a car accident every month. The son noticed the improvement in his concentration just after one treatment, and he ended up having more treatments.

18 - Difficulty in hearing
A few years ago, I was having dinner with a coworker of mine in a restaurant and he told me he had difficulty in hearing. Because I always carry magnets with me, I taped a magnet on his left KI2, which was to subdue the FIRE point of the kidney. The next morning, he told me an interesting story.
As soon as he woke up, he turned the TV on, and found the volume was too high. He realized his hearing had gotten better. When he turned that TV off the night before, he had set the volume high enough to hear as usual, but with his better hearing, it was now too loud for him.
